Siobhan O’Neill is the founder and designer of Sweet Pea Fine Jewellery, established in 2001.

After graduating from jewellery college, Siobhan’s passion for colour, textiles and sculpture led her to create exquisite umbrellas and parasols. Her work quickly gained recognition, selling to the most prestigious stores internationally and commissions soon followed for designer catwalk shows and private clients.

Renowned for transforming a practical accessory into a statement piece, she became the designer people turned to when they wanted to make an impression—rain or shine.

In 2001, Siobhan founded Sweet Pea Fine Jewellery, bringing her distinctive artistic vision into the world of fine jewellery. Working exclusively in gold, using the finest natural materials, responsibly sourced gemstones and pearls, she creates timeless designs with a quiet individuality. Each piece is handcrafted to be worn effortlessly every day, with a style that transcends time.

A lifelong fascination with gemstones has taken Siobhan across the world in search of exceptional stones and precious beads. Every gemstone is personally selected for its colour, character and natural beauty. Once the treasures have been gathered, the creative process begins—combining colour, texture and craftsmanship to transform nature’s finest materials into jewellery of enduring beauty.

Inspired by Vivienne Westwood’s philosophy to “Buy less. Choose well. Make it last.” Sweet Pea believes in creating jewellery to be treasured for a lifetime rather than a season. These are pieces designed to become part of your story—layers of jewellery collected over time, each one carrying memories, marking milestones and becoming more meaningful with every passing year.

In 2003, Siobhan opened the Sweet Pea boutique, which soon became a destination for clients from across the UK and overseas. For more than 20 years she worked closely with customers, creating deeply personal bespoke pieces to celebrate life’s most treasured moments.

Today, Sweet Pea Fine Jewellery has evolved into a private, appointment-led experience. Working online and welcoming clients on a one-to-one basis allows Siobhan to offer an even more personal and exclusive service, continuing to create distinctive jewellery for a loyal international clientele while welcoming new customers into the Sweet Pea story, creating heirlooms for today, tomorrow and beyond.
